Welcome to Costa Holidays. By accessing and using this website and our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking.

1. Services Overview

Costa Holidays offers property management and holiday rental booking services on behalf of property owners. We manage bookings, guest support, and, in some cases, property maintenance and cleaning. Not all properties are fully managed by Costa Holidays, and in certain instances, owners may handle cleaning and maintenance independently. We will inform you if a property is owner-managed.

2. Booking Process

To make a booking, guests must select the dates of stay and submit a booking request. Upon confirmation, Costa Holidays will provide a booking form along with payment instructions. A 30% deposit is required to confirm your reservation, with the remaining balance and a security deposit due 60 days prior to arrival. If a booking is made within 60 days of the arrival date, the full payment is required upfront.

3. Payments and Security Deposit

  • Reservation deposit: A 30% deposit is required to confirm bookings.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance and security deposit must be paid in full 60 days before arrival.
  • Security Deposit: This deposit amount varies by property and is refundable after your stay, provided there is no damage to the property.
  • Failure to make payments on time may result in cancellation of the reservation.

4. Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy follows Decree 28/2016 for holiday rentals in Andalucia:

  • Cancellations more than 10 days before arrival: A 50% refund of payments made.
  • Cancellations within 10 days of arrival: No refund is provided, as Costa Holidays retains the full payment on behalf of the property owner.

If the canceled dates are subsequently rebooked, Costa Holidays will refund 50% of the total payment as a gesture of goodwill.

Any discounts or coupons applied to a booking that is later cancelled will be forfeited and cannot be reused or transferred to a future booking. Refunds, if applicable under the cancellation policy, will be calculated based on the booking.

5. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to treat the property with respect and adhere to the following:

  • Occupancy: The number of guests must not exceed the maximum occupancy specified at the time of booking.
  • Property Care: Guests are responsible for maintaining the property in good condition and will be liable for any damages caused during their stay.
  • Noise and Conduct: Guests must adhere to community rules and respect neighbours. Excessive noise or disruptive behavior may result in eviction without refund.

6. Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-In: Details regarding check-in times and key collection will be provided before arrival.
  • Check-Out: Guests are required to check out by the designated time to allow for cleaning and preparation for the next guest.

7. Property Maintenance and Cleaning

Costa Holidays provides cleaning and maintenance services for some, but not all, properties. If a property is not fully managed by Costa Holidays, the property owner is responsible for arranging cleaning and maintenance. Guests will be notified of the management structure for their selected property at the time of booking.

8. Additional Services

Costa Holidays offers additional services, including:

  • Airport transfers
  • Anniversary Package
  • Beach/pool towel rental
  • Birthday Package
  • Infant Baby Bath
  • Infant Bed-Guard
  • Infant High-Chair
  • Infant Push-Chair
  • Welcome Package

These services can be arranged upon request and may incur additional fees.

9. Call-Out Fees

If a Costa Holidays team member is required to visit the property for assistance during a guest’s stay, a call-out fee may be applied. This fee covers instances where on-site support is needed outside of regular services. The exact fee will depend on the nature of the call-out and will be communicated to the guest prior to the visit whenever possible.

10. Late Arrival Fees

Certain properties may require a late arrival fee for check-ins occurring after 6:00 PM. This fee helps cover the additional staffing and coordination needed for later arrivals. Details regarding late arrival fees, including specific amounts, will be provided before arrival for any applicable properties.

Late arrival charges (excluding tax):

  • 18.00h – 20.00h: 15.00€
  • 20.00h – 22.00h: 20.00€
  • 22.00h – 24.00h: 30.00€
  • 24.00h – 02.00h: 50.00€

For later arrivals than 02.00h, please check before booking.

11. Liability

Costa Holidays acts as a booking agent on behalf of property owners and is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss suffered by guests during their stay. By booking, guests agree to assume all risks associated with the property and to hold Costa Holidays and the property owner harmless from any claims or liabilities.

12. Force Majeure

Costa Holidays is not liable for cancellations, changes, or interruptions due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulations, pandemics, or other extraordinary circumstances. In such cases, we will offer alternative arrangements, but refunds may not be provided.

13. Amendments to Terms

Costa Holidays reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Guests are encouraged to review these Terms periodically for any changes. Continued use of the website and services signifies acceptance of any updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Spain.
