This small but very well designed zoo is a great morning or afternoon plan. You’ll see tigers, gorillas, crocodiles, snakes, and lots more! The stories of Bioparc Fuengirola star in the docu-series “Chronicles of the Zoo” on Discovery Max.
La Bateria Park
Torremolinos
Located in Torremolinos, Parque la Bateria is a popular option for a relaxed stroll for families, where there are plenty of green areas and playgrounds for children. In the middle of the park there is a large man-made lake where and you can also hire boats to row on the lake.
Selwo Marina
Arroyo de la Miel
Just next to Paloma Park, you’ll find the only Dolphinarium in Andalucia.
This attraction park offers you dolphin and sea lion shows, a visit to the penguin’s ice-cold habitat, dolphin encounters and more.
We suggest combining a walk around paloma park after! Parking can be an issue on Wednesday and Friday with the local markets on.
Selwo Aventura
Estepona
The largest wildlife park on the Costa del Sol with some of the African and Asian largest and fiercest animals.
The visit takes few hours – hats and sun-creams are highly recommended!
Selwo Aventura is aprox. 1 hour away by car from Benalmadena.

Zoo de Castellar
Castellar de la Frontera
A hidden gem! Zoo de Castellar isn’t your typical zoo – it’s a very special place which serves as an animal rescue centre where you will be able interact with many of the animals, including the babies. They have over 500 animals, and 120 different species.

Costa Water Park

Costa Water Park, situated in Benalmádena(1), Fuengirola (3) and Puerto Banus (1), offers an exhilarating aquatic adventure like no other. This unique attraction is a floating water park, with an impressive lineup of inflatable slides, obstacle courses, and towering climbing structures that cater to all ages and skill levels. Pedalo's, Canoe's & Paddle Surfing
There are many places where you can hire a pedalo along the beaches of the Costa del Sol. Prices range around 20€ per hour.
They offer a variety to choose from, including single, double, and family pedalos. Most of the hiring companies also offer the options of canoes and paddle surf boards.
Jet Ski's, Water Ski, Wake Board
Jet skiing is a popular water sport on the Costa del Sol. Prices start from around €100 per hour, discounts for longer hire periods.
There’s a variety of equipment to choose from, including single and double skis, wakeboards, and kneeboards. You can also opt for sunset tours of the coastline.
Parasailing, Banana Boats
Experience new and incredible sensations and enjoy a parachute flight with a fantastic birds-eye-view of Benalmádena Costa.

Prison Island (for all ages) and Laser Island (7 years +) offer exciting experiences for a fun day out. Both are located in Benalmádena Marina. Prison Island is mentally challenging, while Laser Island is physically challenging.

Teleférico Benalmádena is a cable car connecting the town with Monte Calamorro. The 6-minute journey offers stunning views of the Costa del Sol. The cable car operates year-round, depending on weather confitions. At the top, they offer spectacular bird shows, panoramic lookouts with the most stunning views of Malaga’s coastline.
